The design philosophy of the hotel has been based on creating an aesthetic that is complimentary to the region and has a sense of place in Arabia. The architecture provides an opportunity for foreign guests to experience a sense of contemporary Arabia.
The Design philosophy of the five star Rotana Beach hotel which is being built on Saadiyat Island off the coast of Abu Dhabi has been based on creating an aesthetic that is complimentary to the local vernacular language of the region, and will consist of 354 keys comprising of 338 king and double double hotel rooms, 6 junior suites , 6 Executive suites, 2 Ambassador suites and 2 Royal suites. Other facilities include 3 signature restaurants, a state of the art convention centre and wellness centre, kids entertainment zone and 13 beach villas along the protected beachfront zone offering total privacy to hotel guests.
The development comprises a built-up area of over 60 000 square metres, with on- site parking in 2 levels of underground parking catering for 650 bays, freeing up space above podium for creating lush landscaped gardens and courtyards with water features and relaxation areas.
