The project will comprise a grand hotel, iconic spa, exclusive beach front villas, fishing village, the Park Resort Hotel, a canal village, a marina and golf club with a retail, mixed use component and apartments.
Situated on Egypt’s South Red Sea Coast, Port Ghalib is ideally located fifteen minutes away from the Marsa Alam International Airport, or alternatively, a scenic, two and a half hour drive way from Luxor.
The master plan imaginatively traces the ancient, faded outline left by Ghalib himself, recently revealed through the archeological discoveries made on the site, expanding and developing it into a successful, innovative resort design.
The Grand Hotel is an elegant and graceful, luxury hotel situated along a stretch of prime beach front land and set regally within traditional Arabic style gardens. Fountains, formal swimming pools and the stretch of canal flowing through the centre of the hotel – originally part of Ghalib ibn Zaghlul’s irrigation system – will further enhance the landscaping, maximising the Arabic understanding of the calming and aesthetic effect of water. The hotel’s iconic spa will offer additional sanctuary and a range of international treatments.
